Advanced ChatGPT Voice Mode Launches

OpenAI's new voice mode for ChatGPT is rolling out to select ChatGPT Plus users.

Initially delayed for safety tweaks, it’s more interactive and you can interrupt it much easier.

Despite earlier criticism for sounding like Scarlett Johansson, the new version uses only preset voices made with voice actors. Full rollout expected this Autumn!

Blake Anderson: 23-Year-Old's $5 Million Secret: Building RizzGPT with AI in 30 Days

A 23-year-old tech kid used AI to create RizzGPT (later renamed FlowGPT).

And, the best part? He did it on his own using AI, in 30 days, without being able to code. Madness!

Oh, and it gets more crazy. He did two youtube sponsorships for $50 each, and made $80,000 in the first month! Overall those two videos made almost $200,000.

He’s now done around $5m of revenue in a year.

News: Trophi.ai is a dedicated AI Gaming coach. It gives feedback and guidance as you play, pointing out mistakes as you make them. Sounds pretty cool in my opinion. Here’s the dosh they got: Press Release

My take: I actually really quite like this one. I've heard quite a lot of people out in the world paying for coaches for their kids to get better at games. I think if this was around when I was a kid, I’d have definitely nagged my parents to get it me.

Whether that sounds mad or not I don't know, but I think this one could work!

Growth / Behind the Scenes

Apple gave me a fright! My open rate dropped from 47% to 25% overnight!

I thought my emails were starting to hit spam, but it looks like Apple has had an outage, and so all emails sent aren't being reported as opened.

Normally, Apple privacy measures make it so that 100% of emails are reported to be opened, which inflates the metrics people like me see on their email service providers dashboards.

But apparently their "iCloud Private Relay" (whatever that is...) had an outage, so the 25% is actually the more reflective of what's reality. This is according to Substack...they better be right, the drop gave me a shock!

Just in case, here’s how I’ll tackle the deliverability issues, if indeed I am starting to hit spam…

First off, I’ve turned off all subscriber acquisition channels, as people are joining the list, but it looks like they’re not opening the first or second email.

The first emails sent are very important, if people don’t open these, they likely won’t open the rest.

Next, I’m segmenting my list, to pull out subscribers which haven’t opened in 90 days. I’m saying goodbye to these. Au revoir! 👋 

Then, for this send, I’m only sending to the active subscribers (you guys! - cheers!).

Hopefully, my open rate gets back to normal and I can send to the full list again!
