Elon Gets His $56 Billion!

Elon Musk initially had a deal whereby Tesla didn’t pay him at all, but if he hit some (very ambitious) targets, he got a one hell of a pay package.

Well, Tesla hit them, and so Elon was due a $56 billion pay package.

But in January a Delaware judge axed the package, calling it “deeply flawed.”

Madness right?

They'd all agreed the deal, he hit his targets, and then didn't get god damn paid! I think that’s unfair, and so did a lot of other people. (Elon made fat $$$ for his shareolders, worked insanely hard, and didn’t get his dosh!)

So Tesla took matters in their own hands, and issued a vote to renew the deal. It was structured in two parts:

1. To pay Elon his $56 billion

2. To relocate the company officially to Texas

And it looks like both votes were approved this week.
